about Minuvo
Minuvo is all about timeless, sustainable fashion that goes beyond fleeting trends. Their mission? To fight the fast fashion wave and offer style that lasts, helping people build a wardrobe that’s both stylish and kind to the planet.
My Approach
project goals
I started with a thorough research phase, taking time to understand into understanding Minuvo’s target audience and their needs. I wrote a detailed user personas to ensure the new website would connect with those who care about sustainable fashion.
User Persona
This led me to curate a user persona and target audience for the website, ensuring that I wasn’t designing blindly. For a corporate workwear female-only brand, i found that the target audience’s needs and wants are closely tied to their professional lives and aspirations. My research helped me develop the following user descriptions: detailed below
What’s next?
I began finding inspiration and creating mood boards for the visual identity and overall look of the website. Here’s what I’ve settled on:
I chose Timesnow Light for Minuvo’s font because it’s clean, modern, and easy to read. This font gives the website a fresh and approachable feel, which fits perfectly with Minuvo’s focus on sustainability. It’s simple but effective, making sure the text is clear and the message is strong.
The colors I picked for Minuvo’s website tell the brand’s story in a subtle but powerful way. The soft beige sets a calm, natural tone that’s inviting and clean. The warm yellow adds a touch of brightness, drawing attention to important areas without being overwhelming. The earthy brown ties everything together with a grounded, natural feel, while the muted green quietly reinforces Minuvo’s commitment to eco-friendly fashion.
The Results
Next, I jumped into the fun part—designing! After a lot of work and attention to detail, I finally launched the site. It reflects Minuvo’s commitment to eco-friendly fashion.
What’s next?
As much as I love how this project turned out, I’m always looking to improve. For the next one, I’m going to focus more on user testing to make sure everything works perfectly for people like Emily. I’ll also be more proactive in gathering feedback to refine and enhance the user experience.
